Equipment

  • glass seasoning jar or small air tight container
  • teaspoon

Ingredients

  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp all spice
  • 1 tsp clove
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine all ground spices together and mix. Store spices in an air tight small container/jar or place in a seasoning jar.

Notes

  1. To create a bulk of chai spice seasoning, double or triple the amount according to the recipe.
  2. Best stored in the refrigerator or freezer for freshness which can last up to 5 months depending on storage environment. Keep in a cool/dry place and avoid moisture.
  3. Use on desserts, drinks, and savory recipes.
  4. Buy individual spices in bulk to save on cost! If you live on Guam, as I do, I found all my spices  from a small local shop - Pomika Sales.
